anyone got info on William Yandell of London

Recommended Posts

Hi after trying research and coming up with little, thought i would see if anyone has any info on this individual. I purchased a Pocket Watch with him on the Dial, in the Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World he is listed in 1881 as a Watchmaker, the dial states at Hall St, Clerkenwell by Census no.4. Hall St.

Even though he can be traced 1891 (Watch (needs transcribing but starts with a J but not Jeweler) ) 1901, Photographer and 1911 a Retired Watch Dial Maker. Also know he was born  in London abt 1839 to Thomas & Emily. Now the Movement Waltham dates to 1883, the Case Silver Birmingham i think 1883. Maker A.B on Case in a rectangle (any info?) Dates tally on case and

Now my queries are is the movement used Waltham the right Movement? not sure if they were used by other people, and was wondering as could not find directories for that period, what dates he was a Watch Maker. If anyone could enlighten me on any of these points be great.  Will get some photos later in case required
