Sunday Modern (After 1990)

Recommended Posts

Morning. Fine weather = gardening (for my mum - if I was at home it would mean drinking beer).  Don't actually know how old this is:

Well worth it IMO . I actually won this on the forum from Roy , one of the best prizes I have ever won . The watch is very legible and extremely accurate , looks great on a variety of straps too . Personally I would go for it JJ

Nice to see some summer butterflies at last! Last year there were hardly any here in the south, and I haven't seen many this year, either. That's the first time I've seen a Painted Lady (last pic) for years...they used to be very common here.

And, a brown-gold Painted Lady  --  as we seem to be doing arthropods today . . .

Absolutely agree,  wearing mine this morning on a comfy waxed leather strap.

Plenty of Painted ladies and a few Red  Admirals spotted on the North Devon coast this year.

Seconded! I very recently got one from TKMaxx for under £80 and am very, very happy with it. Comfortable, easy to read, and it's got that great sweep hand.

At the risk of being OT  --  in East Anglia we are having a good year: Peacock, Admiral, Painted Lady, Comma and Gatekeeper abound.
