Continuing with my small and gold theme 1940’s Longines today

Difficult to photograph due to its very curved plexi but cool all the same

Morning,

Today this 34.65mm BaoXuan from the Jie Yang Watch Factory and running on a Zhongshan SN-2  movement which came with various jewel counts, ranging from nine up to this “up-graded” one with 17. Absolutely not the world’s prettiest movement and matched for unattractiveness by the cheapo bracelet which accompanied the watch.

Whilst this brand wasn’t exactly aimed at the top end of the home market, it’s a bit of sparkly fun with its red and gold accents.

Regards.

Leon Hatot was known primarily for his jewellery creations & electric clocks, but also some artistic wristwatches of the time, his most notable (with collaboration from Blancpain) the patented ROLLS automatic.

This one I picked up recently...

Off topic "bug of the day".

Just had coffee in the garden (wearing the MG of course) . . . .
