Morning,

Today it’ll be this German-made Kienzle "Volksautomatik" from the 1950s. Running on their 19j 57/19, and serviced since the movement pic was taken.

Things would probably still be a bit touchy at this time, so very often German dials merely showed “Foreign” on watches destined for export as opposed to those predominantly sold in the home market.

2004 tissot 1853. Very comfy bracelet. Even with no micro it fits perfect. The new equivalent of this is 335 quid at goldsmiths which makes these modern vintage ones a bit of a bargain so it does.

STEINHART MARINE TIMER SWISS MADE, Unitas cal.6498 17 Jewels & GLYCINE INCURSORE (3804) 200M, SWISS MADE, Unitas  cal.6497 17 Jewels.

The Glycine will be set to the correct current time & the Steinhart will be set to 12 just before we leave so it can be used to time the journey, no reason, just because I want to & yes I could use one of my chronographs but where`s the fun in being sensible/normal? :tongue:
