Black Friday Deals

Recommended Posts

Thought it might be a useful thread to help spend some of your money :laughing2dw:

I've just picked up a few bargain straps from here and I'd expect the quality to be as good as ever: https://www.watchgecko.com

...and for those with deeper pocket's you can save a few grand on a silly priced Rolex: https://www.watchfinder.co.uk/promo/rolex-sale

Anybody else got any links to share?

thanks Rich, ive had a few from watchfinder including an omega 120 qtz, ok but top price i think? i find this place the best for watch straps, massive range and good prices with next day delivery. Fluco and di moddel are the best ive had better than Hirsch in my view. im just about to put a review on the strap section of a di moddel i got today for a tenner.

Goldsmiths also have a £1000 off a couple of pretty ugly Seamasters...

Yes they can't shift those "golf" edition Aqua Terras for love nor money ... they have been on and off sale in their stock for about 18 months.

Some decent reductions here.... new wavey dial SMP on rubber at £2620 has got to be a decent buy!

https://watts1858.co.uk/watches/omega-watches/

it could be a black friday for some of the lads on here when their wives find out the fifty quid seiko turned into a 2 grand omega after 2 pints tonight.

Where do they get their RRP prices from?  They quote a saving on a 55 year old watch against RRP!  how relevant is that (if not just plain misleading)?

I must up all prices on my website by 50%, in order to drop them by 25% to compete - NOT

No but I keep checking Pricespy for the Bulova 'Lunar pilot' watches - it's the only way to get a decent Speedy homage and and yet have it's own heritage too. I mean it was designed to the same spec so it's not strictly a homage, but it is now  ha ha ha - did you know an unbranded version of the actual self-winding moonwatch (sterile dial) went at auction a few years back, probably before anyone knew what it was!  (prototype I guess)  weird how some people have photographic memories - A guy, on seeing the news story about Scotts moon watch sale, remembered seeing something like it and tracked back through his neural network and memorabilia till he found the auction catalogue, and posted a pic.  Some watch collectors have weird brains.

I would like the denim strap railmaster, if it was about 1200.00!

The link to watchfinders Rolex sale made me chuckle. The irony of of uplifting the prices so high, then putting them on sale at you guessed ridiculously uplifted prices!..

Imagine bragging to your friends: guess you won't believe it! I got £2000 of my Rolex. Really? Yeah that meant only paid a measly £10000 over list for my Daytona :toot:

there is a watch I really really want to buy at a great price  , but just don't have the funds and wont have till next year at earliest , I have used the " you are only here once" reason to buy my last two which are still hurting ( but would not have gone without them!) if the watch I am watching goes down in any sales then I am going to be in a big trouble dilemma wise ! so I may best be staying away from threads like this

saw a discount offer for rodico and pegwood

Rodico, how many lives has that stuff saved, if I was ever on 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!' my luxury item may very well be Rodico.

or Pizza...it's a tough call

I'll just drop the link here, saw a discount offer for rodico and pegwood at spareparts-watches.

It's on their frontpage..

https://www.spareparts-watches.com

The Rodico is expensive to start with even at 3.50€...it's only £2.50 from Cousins...then add on the delivery from Holland (15€) and you're up to 18.5€. I'll stick to Cousins UK.
