Tissot 2481 Stripdown.

Recommended Posts

Well my training continues and my friend and forum member bridgeman entrusted me with the repair and service of his Lanco Watch with the Tissot 2481 movement.

The Watch had stopped without warning and would not re start no matter how hard he tried.

This will mostly be pictures without comment and some stages missed out as I did not intend to do a post about this but decided it may well help others who work on this calibre.

The stoppage was caused mainly by dirt.

Pair of safe hands with @PC-Magician......running smooth as silk now.  Biggest success was recognising the sources  of potential parts failure as well as the strip and rebuild.
Movement virtually same as Omega 1481 so Jon may  be moving into the big league.
