@Nigelp, please find below my Sternglass Naos.

Please also find a picture of a frying pan.

If you can't tell the difference, I'm not coming round to yours for a bacon sandwich.

This is a thing.  A foreign thing I think.  Here's another brand.

Taking a leaf out of your book I have cunningly matched my indices to the strap and the numerals to my green veins

Thats the thing about these old watches bits fall off. If you look closely at my helmet there are bits of paint stuck to the inside of the crystal where the paint fell off the hands when it fell on the floor whilst i was shaking it to get it going. I never have a problem with blood tests.

I know you're all desperate to see my other leonine watch, so here it is. Leijona is Finnish for lion. The movement is an AS 1130, so another "wehrmachtswerk", like the Unitas in the Lejon. I have no idea what "ferrotex" is.

There's a company in Finland still selling Leijona watches with the same logo.

We could have a new thread...worst ever watch disasters. One of mine involved a pencil an old omega and a seconds hand. The hand fell off so i put it back on and it fell off again. So i thought great idea...ill use the butt of the pencil to apply pressure while it was running...this was after deciding to relume the hands with airfix paint out of a spitfire model kit. We have a grate over the rd and a few of my disasters have ended up down that and out to the north sea.

...the seconds hand on the old omega fell off because i was trying to relume the hands while it was going around the dial and so i had to try and avoid it. Unfortunately the seconds hand hit the screw driver that i was using to dab paint onto the hour hand which knocked it off. I was only 35.

Ufo et just landed
