Morning.

Someone asked me if I was interested in modern watches, I said 'yes if they are interesting'.  QED

Mecha-quartz bull-head with snap-back centre chrono seconds, 5hz, nice and smooth.

Black lume.

Kwl.

One way bezel. DO NOT TOUCH lol I want the triangle at 12 and only 12.  I have ' 'rough riders' for the wrist if we are going to get all unsymmetrical out there. This is not a tool watch!

It's a strong start this morning.

Hopefully continued here.  Like @Jet Jetski I like the occasional modern if they are interesting

DSC_0206

The detail on this is crazy.  Pillar box red syringe hands, matched with the tiniest bit of red on the dial.  The yellow seconds hand tip goes right to the edge of the dial, which is also yellow.  The numerals are outlined in a lighter blue to the dial. Bronze crown, dial coloured date disc.  Lovely

Every now and then Big M has a bit of a tidy up or is looking for something, a small four place watch box turned up and this was in it. I wondered where it was, haven’t seen it for ages

Sun is beaming down here so something a bit bright this morning.

1967 Sportsmatic Weekdater with nos stelux hybrid bracelet also from the 60s. Its very comfortable as only under the wrist expands and side links can be added and removed. Superbly made...amazing that it's sat on display in a shop for the past 55 years...

No idea to honest, it’s a Gulfman. I have noticed he wears various G-Shocks though.

The pic is a bit deceiving it’s actually orange rather than red. Maybe our resident go to G-Shock man @Igerswis could shed some light on the subject.

A quick bit of google

The UN again. I tend to wear watches a few days in a row just so they aren’t stopped and started too often.
As yesterday’s posts background generated a couple of questions I thought I’d include the other end of the speaker wire as a background.
