Or wish me luck lol

p.s. just changed into this already to see how accurate it is - I have to wear it at the weekend when it's not too important to actually know the time, as it takes me a while to figure out.

Morning :)

Rotary Les Originales LE90007-06 (Cal ETA 2824) today.

A bonny watch... and a bonny bruise from your cannula.

How's the recovery going?

Sacm. I thought of letting this go when i got my Sarb. But its nice to have something so light and accurate. Its a great evening watch as i forget im wearing it, its so comfortable. Its also the perfect watch to have in the box to set the rest by.

I think this is a 'tip of the hat' from Seiko to Gerald Genta (IMO)

Flared case sides ( Nautilus ish) and polygonal bezel (Royal Oak ish)

Now I know a Royal Oak has an Octagonal bezel and my Seiko has a Dodecagonal bezel, but they had to make a few differences.

Have a great weekend guys.

Morning,

This 1960s Medana Lever for today, a sub-brand of MST (later Roamer). As opposed to the pin-lever movements often found in the Medana brand, this one has the fully-jewelled MST 962 movement.

The Vintage Roamer Watch resource relates that when MST established their UK operation in 1909, they seemingly did so under the Medana name, that being the registration date of the brand.

On the dial, the letters Pm to the right of the “6” indicate the use of Promethium lume, a subject which I see was previously discussed in this informative thread initiated by @Karusel a few years ago:

Regards.
