Finally got around to wearing this: The mighty DOM Original. Telling the time is a challenge, build quality is pretty much 1/10 and the bracelet is awful but... it's interesting to look at, the dial has some rather subtle texture to the white part, there is some sort of sparkly glitter stuff in the black part that catches the light every so often but isn't in your face, while there is no second hand per se the cog looking thing in the center acts as a running 'seconds' indicator, it even has a capped cannon pinion (i think thats the right bit - what the hands are attached to).  Best of all it cost peanuts.

I doubt I'll wear it very often but it's a bit of fun

Morning,

This patinated Lebem “Automatique” today, and no prizes for deducing its French origins despite running on a 21j ETA 2472.

The maker is unrecorded but is thought to have been briefly active in Besançon before being assimilated into the Difor (Diffusion Horlogère) grouping of eight different brands in the early 1960s.

Regards.

Quick change for me before going to work.  Just noticed all this extra handwashing playing havoc with my cuffs ...

Still, nice to see a bit of subtle Americana peeping coyly from my sleeve.

I bought this Zeon a fair while back and I've finally got around to fitting a new geckota strap and giving it a first outing today.

Not fancy or expensive but I quite like the colours and simplicity of it. If anyone recognises it you'd probably guess the industry I work in/these were made for.

Photo now attached, not sure the quality has come through very good though

TW Steel Goliath non-chrono for me today:

20171010_115540

Relatively "small" by TW Steel's usual standard, but still quite a substantial chunk of metal (but not compared to my chrono version, which is ma-hoo-sive) :laughing2dw:

The killer of forum knowledge of the internet for corporate gain. Despite the tremendous number of adverts. Sad really.
