Hi Rafy

It is a Hamilton movement.

However, I understand this to be a Blancpain finished & supplied movement.  During the 30’s - early 40’s they were principal movement suppliers to Hamilton, Elgin & Gruen.

It was a market Betty Fleichter, CEO of Blancpain, exploited during the financial crisis of the 1930’s.  It was a condition of import, imposed by the American government, that no trace of ‘origin’ be shown. :whistle:

Just braved a weekly shop at Tesco, actually quite civilised and well stocked apart from a shortage of most tinned foods. Most but still not all recognised and respected social distancing.. :thumbsup:

I say that's rather nice ... I need another orange dial watch now ... not this one as way out of my range ... but as weather is returning to normal LOL its a MUST ..
