Wristwatch case cartouche

Recommended Posts

This is the sort of thing that intrigues me and probably no one else, but let's see.

I have two watches with Arogno 151 movements, both with the same 10 microns gold plate case and a cartouche on the caseback.

Both of mine are brands of Allaine Watch, so unsurprising they'd be the same design, though its the only time I've seen Allaine use a cartouche. But I've seen other brands with Arogno 151 movements and the same cartouche, for example this is from a Cornavin, which has no relationship to Allaine that I'm aware of. Any thoughts on where the cartouche comes from - is it Arogno, or the casemaker?
