I do think some of them look quite cool , and i do own one myself (never wear it ) but find them generally quite difficult to read the time especially in poor light , so for me a bit more of a fashion item than something to tell the time by .
But as always , if you like them then yeah go for it

Skeleton timepieces are only of interest too me now.

Have a few in my collection, nothing that can be defined as haute horology.

Picked this one up some years ago as I collect vintage Avia's...

Circa 1980 AVIA.

Cal: Evaco SA V7, 17 jewel.

The base ebauche is a Baumgartner 582, skeletonised & finished by Evaco for Avia...

I've a Chinese one as well, although Thomas Earnshaw would never tell you that , probably paid 7x the price of those Ali bargains.

I just don't get skeleton watches. Reminds me of those American muscle cars with the engine block poking up through the bonnet, a bit like 'ooh look at me'. Appreciate I am probably in the minority with this view. Plus agree with @andyclient that they are hard to read. Just not my cup of tea but appreciate why some think they are cool.

Just a hint of a skeleton (depending on the light) is enough for me . . . .
