Morning,

Shamefully, after what's been posted already, today it's this Ackro "De Luxe" (oh yes!) with its 1j Baumgartner 866. The brand isn't recorded in the usual databases and whilst a cloak of anonymity isn't particularly helpful, it's perhaps understandable when it comes to things like this one.

Probably imported into UK by Gaumont Watch Co and is such rubbish that I'm afraid its once a year wearing doesn't merit a new crystal.

Regards.

Pretty sure I can squeak this into the oldies, @scottswatches will back me up  .

Proof, if any were needed, that you don't need a Cyclops for a date to be legible, nor a funny shaped date-slot to figure out the date when it's obscured by the minute hand. Just a bit of elegance -

Unitas 6428.

I am reminded of a very fastidious chap, who cursed loudly once, on seeing a mark on the paintwork of his range-rover that anyone else would have needed a 3x loupe to spot. The polish on this is marvellous, but I am kind of dreading the first 'ding'!

I must get off to shave my stubble, if I'm going to start bandying words like 'elegance' around!
