G Shock Metal square. Titanium with sapphire crystal. One of my favourite squares as it looks like a £100 resin model from a distance and not a £1,000 high end piece:

Loving the new iPad Pro. The Apple Pencil makes it easier to remove dust rather than messing around with my finger on the iPhone lol.

1 piece strap from vintagewatchstraps - it gets moved around my collection quite a lot, super comfy, but I had it made for this watch originally.  I was on the middle hole back then, wasting away I am!

Morning,

Originally bought as a non-working punt, this 35mm “Small-Q” jump-minute Timex from 1979 fortunately just needed a battery change. It ticks only once every 60 secs when the minute hand jumps loudly to the next minute marker. Apart from that, it is completely silent in operation. It also hacks and had a claimed accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month.

The movement in this odd effort uses what Timex called a rocking motor system, seemingly only ever used by them and for a scant two years at that, so for those of a technical bent or who just find it difficult to sleep, here’s a link to the 1978 patent details:  https://patents.google.com/patent/US4128992

Regards.

Still wearing this...

Watch in the background is a Seiko 7T62- Honda F1 (not sure of the exact model) price around £850.00 (112,517 yen)

Watch in the foreground is a Pulsar YM62- Dakar/Sahara or something or other, not totally sure it has any links to the Dakar rally. Cost...not much, worth...not really caring.

A bit of big watch silliness until I take the bracelet off and put it on something altogether more weird.

I totally get this, it is a watch bought for you, and not bought for others. The fact that others will look at and think it's 'nothing special' is fantastic, because it is something special.

Thanks for sharing your 'stealth G-Shock' I absolutely love it!

Btw, it`s not obvious in the photo of the Corgeut but the dial is not sterile, light brown text is not easy to see on a brown dial
