Hello Everyone,

I'm a big fan of the Kinetic Auto Relay model, used to have three in my collection now only have one - thought I'd share some pics for everyone to see.

I love the sleep mode function myself. Would love to hear from other owners - also let me know what you think guys in general.

I still own one, they are a fantastic movement, one of Seiko's best in my opinion.

I don't have a photo of mine so I have managed to find one on Gumtree that looks similar.

5J22-0A20, the 'art deco' case can put some people off, but it is an iconic Seiko watch, I'm sure some will disagree.

Thanks to Gumtree for the image.

I love mine occasionally, not as much as I should or it deserves as it is such a 'clever' watch.

Thanks for your post @tick-tock-tittle-tattle - agree with everything you said, the auto relay models for me have been the best Seiko's I've owned.

I used to have the same model as you but with the blue dial, great watch.

My new purchase, another Seiko Auto Relay!, has arrived today - very excited, will post some pics later.

It is a fantastic movement, I don't know if it is true, but I read something about Seiko discontinued it because it became too expensive to produce (I don't know where I read this)

I always wanted either a blue or black dial version, I'll look forward to seeing your new watch.

The Auto Relay doesn't get the love and respect it deserves, it's a bit of a ground breaking movement in my opinion.

I've not heard that myself but it makes sense Seiko would do that. That's the other reason why I want to collect a few more, because they are discontinued.

I luckily picked this up for the less than what some of the second hand models sell for! Really happy with it.

I recommend you try and get a hold of a blue dial one if possible, you won't be disappointed.

Btw @tick-tock-tittle-tattle what are your thoughts on using a watch winder to keep the one I don't wear charged?

Well I don't have one, and I have heard that watch repairers don't recommend them, but I think this is more relevant to automatic watches rather than kinetic.

The auto relay function is geared up for upto a 4 year non use back up so I don't think they need them, but a normal Seiko kinetic would probably benefit from a winder.

I'm no expert, but that would be my view.

Your watch above is a stunner!

I have a Seiko 7T62 version of this style and I love it, the bracelet is one of the best I have ever worn.

I've not seen this model before and I've only seen this style of bracelet on the Auto Realy! Watch looks great btw.

Thanks for the advice chief
