Morning,

Today it’ll be this 36mm Start in what the seller euphemistically described as “used vintage” condition and the buyer (me), more truthfully as “trashed”.

Nevertheless, despite appearances it runs well and whilst I often have difficulty in identifying Russian movements with any degree of certainty, this one appears to be a 17j Slava Start from the 2nd Watch Factory.

Regards.

This absolutely mint condition Camy arrived today, so had to give it some wrist time...

Shortly after taking the wrist shots I put it on the Timegrapher and re-timed it.

For a 45+ year old watch that appears to have sat in its box most of that time and never been serviced it seems to run quite well, showing no positional error at all from face down to crown down positions...

The 45 year old leather 'mock croc' style strap was past it's sell by date so I fitted a new genuine crocodile strap, that also arrived today from Vietnam....
