Hi people,

I received an Times watch when I was five years old and I am looking at the feasibility of swapping out the old knackered movement for a decent mechanical one. Is this doable? and any tips on how to go about it?

All the very best!

Replacing with a standard quartz movement is fairly easy if you don't mind having different hands.

If you want to keep the same hands, you need to find a movement with the same hour, minute, second sizes.
