Junior Sunday...(aprés 1980)

You've probably all seen this one on here before, but have you ever seen one in real life? Fairly scarce, I would say. This is a Seiko 7T92-0JG0, commonly referred to as a Seiko 'Caesar'. They were originally available in the yellow as here, and a black dialled version. Seiko also made a kinetic version of this watch. The nickname Caesar comes from the fanciful resemblance to a Roman crown when viewed sideways on. It's quite a big watch, 46mm in diameter and features a screw down crown and chrono pushers. It has a fabulously well made bracelet, (if you can find one) ...most came on rubber.

Seiko 'Caesar'.

Fanciful nickname comes from this view.

Screwdown everything...

On the wrist...

Seiko 'Caesar'.

Usual striking lume...

Seiko 'Caesar'.

Seiko samurai today. Still hunting for another bracelet for this.  Just having a bit of respite from the pup. Worn her out this morning and now she's drifted off, but she will be back! Full time job at the moment with this one.

My 10 year old grandson's CWC G10 - swapped it yesterday for mine so I can get this one fixed up again. It gives me great pleasure to see how he enjoys this watch, it is constantly on his wrist hence the bangs and scrapes resulting in the cracked crystal!
