Hello everyone.

Recommended Posts

I joined the forum about 3 months ago, so I thought it was about time I introduced myself.   63(just) year old lad, with an appreciation of all things mechanical , I work in engineering and I've worn a  watch since about 10 year old, not the same one though!   I had to get a stand in for a watch I'd worn for some time, that was last December and since then I've acquired several.     When I fathom out the photo settings, I'll post a few pictures.

Cheers to everyone.

Welcome aboard.

The best way to post photos is subscribe to the forum's gallery system which is £5 per year

Failing that upload your images to a hosting site such as Flikr or similar and you can use the image url to insert into a post by using the "Insert Other Media" menu

I've paid the gallery subs., so I just need to work out the technical bit and hopefully post a few pictures. :sign_question:

Here are three of mine. I think of the three, the Orient is my favourite. It's really comfortable, I think it should feel like you're not wearing a watch when you actually are, if that makes sense. large.20200706_143402.jpg.74259b23c7c97d84bcf8fd72c9285dd3.jpglarge.20200706_143756.jpg.167c71e37bc847ab4f864533416c5cdd.jpglarge.20200706_143436.jpg.0d6af2283deb26487e09ee59da01f1be.jpg

A nice trio of watches. I like the splash of colour with the Seiko, and I'm always a sucker for a "Lefty" with the Citizen.

My thoughts exactly with the Citizen.  The Seiko is only a few months old, but I had to get it replaced.  The original was gaining about 15 minutes a day!                                          The bloke at the shop insisted that it was common with this movement.  I persevered for a couple of days and back it went, they checked it and sent me another.

I'm no expert but I thought this wasn't quite right.  Not to worry though, this one's fine.
