An auto chronograph. Current fave is the Hamilton panda but Longines or second-hand Tag Heuer are also contenders.

That’s pretty much my only want from the what I’m missing category.

I bought one in 2004 and it hardly left my wrist for ten years but now they they went up so much I very rarely wear it and fantastic watch though it is I can't think it represents good value for money at the current market price...not that I would consider selling it.

Jlc duoface steel large ... but I'd need a custom strap as I don't like their offerings overly much... :rolleyes:

I am totally with you on the JLC Reverso Duoface, but I do like them on an ostrich strap.

The other itch I would like to scratch it Bulgari Octo Finissimo.

It’s fascinating to see differing tastes on here....you don’t get THAT on the Rolex forums!

Horology lives within these walls, not return on investment. :biggrin:

I personally feel that some Rolex buyers (not all) buy because it is a good place to hold money, head ruling heart and all that.

Nice to see people on here pick watches that tug at the heartstrings.

I've handled one of these, and what I found incredible is the illusion that front on it looks like a chunky watch with some heft, when in fact;

Was it a dealer in the UK?

I am nervous about buying one until I have seen one in the flesh. I have a feeling that Bulgari have a design classic with this one and I'm keen to buy, but not without trying it on my wrist first.
