Garmin 735xt this morning, as it’s a day off and I’m going for a walk on the moors, with a mate who retired before lockdown. Not that I’ll be able to upload it

One of the consequences of a new arrival is frequently a game of straporama, and when the music stopped last weekend my 'Strela'was on this croco pattern, and I like the big contrast stitching, a bit more rugged.

Morning,

I would have posted this yesterday but whilst I may be childish and cartoonish, my watches are  boringly vanilla and didn’t fit the criteria.

So, a day late, this hummer from 1976 and running on a 2192.10 with its single drive coil.

Regards.

King Quartz again. Its my third this and they really are superb for very little money. I found the Seiko catalogue from 1976 with this very watch in. The price in yen in 1976 converted into uk pounds and taking into account inflation would mean that buying this watch in 1976, would cost about £2,800 in todays money. Confirming that these and the Grand Quartz were todays Grand Seiko in those days. The case uses seikos grammer of design and is also polished using Zaratsu machines by hand. There are some lovely dials to be had. This is like a brushed mirror. I also find that at 36mm they wear perfectly for me.
