Gigandet

Recommended Posts

I had this Watch for a while now but one thing annoyed me.

The dial lume was rubbish so what to do? well I had an HIMQ dial which fits the Seiko NH35 movement fitted to this Watch, but the dial was slightly too big.

Not a problem I reduced the size by maybe 3 microns and got it to fit, so on with the hands and fitted in the case, plus a quick regulation of the movement.

So I give you the Gigandet / Seiko 62MAS Homage.

Original dial and hands.

Much better lume and not in a completely dark room.

0.003 millimetres

Jobbing carpenters (builders) work to the nearest foot, joiners the nearest inch, cabinetmakers the nearest millimetre..........

Neurosurgeons & watchmakers to the nearest micron!

Well done, Jon!
