Mystery watch signed Beyer ?

Recommended Posts

Looking at this Beyer watch, I believe that it represents an early version of the tonneau shaped wristwatch case. Without looking up the date of the movement, I provisionally dated this watch to the later 1920s or early 1930s, and on consulting Scott's link to the Ranfft details of the movement, it is clear that the style and details of the watch as a whole match the approximate date of the movement given by Ranfft, i.e.,c.1925.
