Where were you that hot summer?

And a song from the same year

Touring Europe for a month, first time abroad and at times it was hotter at home in England than where we were!    Happy days.

Today this Orefa, probably from the 1950s. At first glance it would appear to be French-made but with only two brand attributions, either Dreffa (Swiss) or Henzi & Pfaff (German), the former would seem to have been the most likely candidate.

The base calibre is a French hand-winding Lorsa 237B, on to which their chunky self-winding module was bolted and the whole contraption then secured in place by a wire spring movement holder. A bit Heath Robinson-ish and, all in all, something of a rarity this one.

Hi, noticed the date was wrong, but the pics I took after changing it weren't as good, so here we go:

Strela 3133 reissue.

Shockproof, WR, Sapphire crystal being the main technical upgrades from the Cal. 3017 Strela.

Based on Valjoux 17j 7734, after that production line was bought by Moscow.

This is not a valid image address, it needs to be a direct link to the image without the BBcode tags, I've tried removing them but the address is still invalid.
