I like it.  Chunky solar cell too.

2 yrs running on full charge, 7 if it goes into hibernation in a drawer etc.

Daylight pic from the other day:

100m WR, Sapphire crystal, world-time geo-located updates via GPS.  It does 'time only' updates from the GPS signal too, to conserve battery required by the triangulation process of a full calibration, and I am guessing that although it doesn't need open sky for 'time-only' checks, they will seldom take place indoors because GPS signal transmissions are pretty low energy .

Reality is I used to have to put my AT (radio controlled) Citizen on the kitchen window cill to get an update indoors, too.

Have a great day.

Per my list of preferred manufacturies (posted yesterday), D. Dornblüth & Sohn.

They (nine people) contrive to produce fully two hundred beautifully conceived and made watches each year.

This is the 99.1 (and, IMHO, the prettiest of the range.

Most definitely.  I mean, it's definitely wet, but not sure if that's going to be enough WR!

Successfully channeled Atahualpa, changed into my golden watch to lure out the sun, and Presto!

72 Citizen flyback column-wheel chrono.  38mm but, erm, "wears smaller", in watch-bingo speak.  Hope you had that one on your card!

Morning,

Another mismatched jewel count on today’s effort, this Swiss-made Mont Rouge.

Although unrecorded in any of the usual databases, I’ve seen another two examples of the brand, one with an AS 1130 signed Nivrel on the bridge and one with an AS 1525 signed Olma on the ratchet wheel.

By contrast, the movement in today’s effort is stamped as an FHF 26 but is more likely to be a variant of the FHF 2610.

Regards.
