Morning, wearing this today after my exertions last night to snip another link off the shark mesh.

Vostok Precision, gold movement.

Striking similarities to the Zenith Cal. 135, to fit a larger balance into a smaller watch and improve precision.  I understand the bearings are more agricultural though, to aid volume production, so unlikely to trouble the Zenith in a fight.

I’m going to need more than one watch or my posts are going to get boring very quick,

This is a trap. Two watches will quickly get boring, you need three ... and so on. At 35 and counting, I don't post most days because no one wants to see that old thing again.

Playing with this one today , dug out this old bracelet, unfortunately it’s stainless and the watch head is gp but it looks quite cool. Crystal was badly scratched so rubbed down with 800 grit wet and dry to remove deep scratches then 1200 and finished off with poly watch   Now just giving it at little run out

calibre 1481 from 1971

ps the quick set does work but didn’t bother to set date just checked it worked
