Morning,

Today this French-made VEC, one of my two examples of this brand produced by SR Ltd Etablissements of Marseille, the city from where this one was bought.

Both differently powered, this one runs on a 15j Cupillard 233 and probably dates from around the late 1950s.

Regards.

I like using NATO straps, but I don't necessarily think they are the best aesthetic, but I like this combo.

Might be a good time to sell it before the lume drops out ...

Just re do it with a bit of airfix paint i did on a roamer mustang. Just be careful not to knock the seconds hand off with the brush as it comes round the dial.

Which is what i did.

The colour for the raf spitfire desert 1 is good

100% agree, I just love the finish on the Presage watches, cases & dials always look superb, been looking at a Zen garden for quite a while, the SRPD42J1 and SRPD97J1, although no room in my Seiko box at the moment, maybe later if a space becomes available. :laughing2dw:

Edit to say, see you've posted one of them as i was writing this post.

Im restricting myself to a 3 watch box thats full now. I fancy a KS high beat from the 70s too. One that looks like the modern GS. Just too many nice Seikos. I dont even look at Swiss stuff now.
