They make nice watches, but their marketing is poor

I was interested in a particular watch a few years ago, but there were absolutely no dealers within a very wide radius. I did find one in London where I was able to try the watch on before going to a conference one day, but it never went further than that.

I saw Scott’s post and watched it for a while. The lighting and camera work always makes everything look very blingy, and I began losing interest when the watch experts started talking about deployments. :cursed:

Agree...'Ideal World' also predominantly feature Mathey-Tissot and Vostok Europe....brands we used to like but probably aren't so well known/regarded now....

It's a shame, as there is nothing wrong with some of the brands on Ideal World, Mathey-Tissot, Vostok Europe, Traser, Sturmanskie, Aviator, Swiss Military and now Eterna all decent brands, although everybody may not like the style of theses brand's watches they are at least watchmaking brands. Problem is, especially with the other brands Ideal World sell, is that IW's so called "Expert" guests and presenters spend so much time spouting lies, misinformation and rubbish that more often then not their watch shows have become a farce, it's hilarious listening to some of the nonsense, which IMO negatively effects the reputation of any brand that appears on their shows.
