Breitling Bezel emblem..... Well you learn something every day.....

Recommended Posts

I am only a member here and no other fora for watches but am a member of a rather posh watch group on FB and this morning I learnt that on my Breitling Colt, there is a Breitling B emblem on the side of the bezel engraved into the metal and this signifies that the screws are functional. I did not know that.

I take it you mean the screw to the left of the "B" ? What is its function ?

The bezel is screwed in place to the turning mechanism so it can not pop off or be prized off.

It is also on my Aerospace, I knew about the Breitling B but didn't know it meant the screws are functional though

I had no clue it was there on mine .... the person who informed me what it mean't worked at Breitling in the late naughties ....
