Calling it a day for the long-term test, on the wrist since 1 Dec, gained just under a second, not been hand-wound or on the winder in that time, came out on a dozen runs, only taken off at night a couple of times (and not worn in the bath, obvs).

The rate wanders up and down very slightly over 24 hrs, but although it could therefore be marginally more precise, it could hardly be more accurate.  Well adjusted by Zelos I would say.

It's time.  For a change.

Lovely Casio Edifice for me today:

I've also got the blue dial version, and this one narrowly avoided getting the chop during my recent ruthless cull. However, at the end of the day I couldn't bring myself to do it, because they are both excellent and I couldn't choose between them

Morning,

Going with this MENTOR today, another of the recent “resurrectees” from my watchmaker’s dead-box. Probably made by Bader & Hafner SA, and bearing the simple upper-case “MENTOR” wordmark mentioned in Honour’s Topic here: https://thewatchforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/111816-mentor-watches-a-history-uncovered/

Today’s example runs on a 15j EB 1197N with what looks like a Neutro-Shock system and in a 26.5 x 30mm case. The case back is slightly curved, presumably for more comfortable wearing but given the option, many here would probably still rather have the pound coin!

Regards.

I like that "sunburst" dial. I had a reissue Super 25 with the higher grade ETA movement which was excellent, but sadly too big for my personal taste. Great value for money with some very healthy discounts if you shop around.

Been tempted a few times by the Super 25, but so far have resisted. :laughing2dw:

This one is 40mm and with the curve of the lugs, the lug to lug is only 46mm, so wears smaller than most 40mm i have.

As you say great value for money and if you are patient and hunt around a lot of decent bargains to be had on Rotary watches in sales etc.
