Happy Friday to you all.  Hamilton X Wind today, which I think would be a great watch if a) the glass wasn't so damn reflective and b) the hands were legible....

Looks fine to me.   2.25pm.

This Swiss-made Repco Watch, a brand from the Nicolet family of Tramelan.

With the demise of the last Niclolet family member in 1992, ownership passed to Italian entrepreneur Rolando Braga and whilst production continued in Tramelan, design and marketing were centred in Brescia, Italy until 2001 when the Repco Watch Co was declared bankrupt.

Today’s example runs on a 17j AS 1194 and probably dates from the 1950s.

This is a beautiful watch. Absolutely amazing:) Is it automatic or manual wind? What's the model name or number?

Hi Marcin, it's a cushion-cased automatic from the Aerowatch '1942' collection (this model no longer in production).

The engraving was done by Viljo Marrandi
