I’ve gone over to the “ Dark side of the moon “ with this one

Latest arrival and a bit of a curve ball for me but I have a plan for a new collection

A watch that has probably spent more time in space than any other ? The classic DW 5600e G shock

Now do I go for a metal bezel and strap conversion :hmmm9uh:

West German-made Helbros Electronic from the early 1970s.

This front-loading day/date model runs on a 7j PUW 2002 and the movement pic of a PUW 2001 (date-only model) is “borrowed” from Silver Hawk’s indispensable electric-watches.co.uk  for illustration purposes.

Just took this Pulsar kinetic in the bath after my jog, so I guess there goes the warranty.

I took it out of the charger first.

The movement is great, it's like an automatic, but with jump seconds complication, and it's always right!  The second hand is even jolly good at hitting the markers.
