This morning's fresh pickings, one for the "less seen brands" thread too maybe - a Fiat chronograph. While it is Swiss made it is displaying some reassuringly Italian traits - the split seconds subdial has packed up.
I have made a start moving my quartz dates along ready for tomorrow.
I like this hybrid leather and nylon strap, but the holes really still needed to be heat sealed, the bond to the leather does not stop all the fraying - I dabbed some loctite thread locker on (what else), and blotted most of it out again, to add a bit of stability round the holes. The material does darken, of course, around the hole, but acceptable to me.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
