Well, it should be fairly easy. There should be a notch you can get your thumbnail into that will open the back. Probably opposite what looks to me like a hinge on the left in your photo.

To have a picture of the inside of the caseback and of the movement would be interesting, but I think I can answer your query to an extent without that, as "Jones National Lever" comes up a an online search as Jones & Co of Worcester, which Brian Loomes lists as trading in 1896. Luckily that leads to a query we had last year, where I also found out that Kelly's Directory 1896 for Worcester lists "Jones & Company, wholesale watch & clock manufacturers, jewellers, & silversmiths & importers & exporters. The National Stores, Shrub Hill Road." The entry is still there in 1900, but gone by 1912.

If you can get inside we may be able to be more exact on dates and also where the movement and case were made.
