Its a heartbreaker isn't it :(

So there's me, one of my favourites stops. So I'm thinking it needs a little wind and I might just rock it for the rest of the night.. and nothing.

It can still wind, its not tight.  'Twiddle twiddle..' still no ticks.. So I have a little concern, it should sweep even for just a few ticks.. NOTHING!

One more turn, still not tight.. OK. I'm thinking its old, a few taps, still nothing.. OK, I think I'll look inside, give the wheel a little nudge.. nothing. I know it has power, its not wound too tight.. thats when the dread enters and the realisation sets it.. DEATH! (or as far as I'm willing to go)

Aww man.. the watch is worth less than the cost to get it fixed but the loss of a nice little hand winder.. Swiss.. 70s.. looker..

OK, so I'm in mourning..

This is the downside of vintage collectors and I feel empathy for those who do the same as me..
