Help with identifying EJ Dent

Recommended Posts

i have acquired the insides of an E J Dent pocket watch (I think?!) and wondered if there is a way of finding out more about it. It measures approx 4cm in diameter.

Its quite heavy, would the metal be gold?

I have no use for it (although I do appreciate the fantastic workmanship), would it be of interest to a collector or restorer?
