£200 challenge..

Recommended Posts

Kevkojak recently mentioned something about a £100 challenge to find a watch.. I thought I would double your fantasy spending fee and add an exception to the challenge (it's the least I could ask, I'm giving away hundreds of fake pounds here!).

The watch has to be NEW. (But can be in a sale).

No second hand ebay items.

I would give a shout out for this

I guess I'm a bit left field.

Edit.. ahh no.. oops wrong watch. I'm thinking that's the one with the sea-gull st19 inside.. it's not. That's the one with the quartz.. I have to look again.

Don't you just hate when a watch just 'goes' and/or the maker makes a cost cutting change :cursed:

Ok. My second (scrub the first) choice is this.. 50% sale at $199

You guys know a lot more options than I do.. it's interesting to see what you choose.

BTW if you keep the fantasy change from the £200 you can buy fantasy beer with it.

At that price point I've fancied one of these for a while and they come in a just under £200 (in EUR) given most online retailers offer a small discount. I don't have a Citizen yet. Pic from Citizen.es, the strap looks a bit gappy but not seen that on any youtube videos.

I have one and can recommend it. The bracelet is ok, but I changed it for a Jubilee.

If I'm spending someone else's 200 notes, I've been quite keen to give one of these a go - Bulova Precidrive.  Joma have them reduced to $175, factor in shipping and duty and its coming in well below budget, £160/£170.

If its my own money... hmmm.  I'll be back.

They could have (at the very least) photographed the advert for this using one where the face was not so squinty! :crazy5vh:

I was wondering why the logo was off centre, until I realised it's attached to the second hand.

5KX/SRPD on a bracelet £165-200ish depending on your flavour. Plus just about enough change for a Strapcode on sale if that is your thing. Personally I find the bracelet fine.

Not really a challenge for me.  My limit is already set at £200, so I could just take a photograph of my whole collection and pick any one of 'em :laughing2dw:

We should set you a challenge of going OVER £200 :laughing2dw:

Not going to happen mate, I am strong-willed enough to stick to my own self imposed limit.  Well, most of the time anyway......... :laughing2dw:
