Is that significant

No, it would have been interesting if it was missing from the dial completely, because I have wondered if watches sold in Switzerland have to say 'Swiss Made' - it was made compulsory here to identify inferior imported watches, in the days of British supremacy in the watch-making industry.  Ummm, that kind of back-fired.

This is a great dial - I know I have said that before, but the depth from the lume plot layering and indices, it's a work of art, like a collage version of The Splash!

I am sorry Jet, but it's pretty clear someone let you loose on this with a tube of lume paste and a felt tip.

These can get a bad press but that looks pretty slick to me - I like a bead blasted finish (it reminds me of the 'parkerised' Benrus watches that were GI in Vietnam.

The original and best!

It's so clean, but don't you have 'new trainer' syndrome? - You just gotta get that first scratch over with!

Pretty sure @rafy1 will be making you an offer for this ...

@Jet Jetski Hmm, not really! My trainers get ruined pretty quickly as I've got 3 and 4yr old kids and live in the countryside.. A combination of being a bit OCD Re looking after them and blind luck has kept all of my watches in tip top condition! I'm of course now on standby for a couple to be wrecked as I've jinxed them
