Hello, just bought a lovely old Services Malvern watch, it's about 37mm without crown and what looks like gold hand and gold leaf numerals, can't seem to find any information on these anywhere, a search brought me here so hopefully one of you fine folks can. It has an old strap with brass fold overs that go over solid spring bars? When I work out how to post images I will do so.

Regards John

I must admit, 37mm sounds large, but your watch would most probably have been made for Services Watch Co of Leicester by the original Newmark Watch Co of Croydon in the 1950s.

The movement is a Newmark 13''' (13 lignes).

Thanks, it's a non runner at the moment but does run for a few seconds after using a offer on it, I think it's overwound, it's a lovely little watch, the only thing I have similar is a seagull 1963, the font on dial looks a little thicker than on images I've seen online. The dial is mint, and the case has solid springboard, i.e non removable, it's lovely though
