More about the strap, equally at home whilst smoking a stealthy pipe or two ...

Or on one's double-secure chronograph to time some high-impact egg coddling:

Love it, so nearly got a Gulf pallette watch several times.

My wearer for today is this steel-cased Transit driven by a 17j AS 1686.

It had arrived with a crystal looking like a crushed eggshell, but remarkably still working, and I remember thinking that here was a bit of a survivor. Probably made by Transit Watch S.A. of Biel and then imported into the US by Harper Watch Co of NY whose Import Code it bears.

It's a decidedly damp Friday here so I thought I'd better wear something with a bit of water resistance. I'm bit sick of divers :jawdrop1: at the moment (I'm sure it's a passing phase) so this one got the gig instead.

Have a good weekend all

Not seen one of those before - may have to have a look & see what's what - very nice (even the blue which I'm not usually a fan of)

Took a punt on this for £15 back in Feb 2019 when I first became active here and knew no better. I've sold most of my other acquisitions from that period, but for some reason this survives. 37mm model 8932a with SII Hattori PC32A quartz movement and very secure solid link bracelet.
