Challenge: Sell someone a watch!

Recommended Posts

Challenge time! Post a picture/pictures that you've taken of a watch you own that you think fits someone else's taste/style in here and tell them why they should want to buy it. Try to sell them a watch, not specifically yours because there's a section for that, just the same thing. Let's see if they agree that it's something they would get.

I was tempted to take the super easy route and just tell @rafy1 to go buy another H2O, but that's just way too easy. Lol

Nope, I choose @Graham60...

Alright, so I think you need to buy a Stella Felix. I know, stupid name but check out their dials. That amazing linen pattern isn't just drawn in. The date window has a nice circular chrome lining to it, letting it stand out but not outshine. The indicies are all applied and not your typical generic font either, plus the lume is very generously applied! That crown and the graphite case liner for added shock protection are superbly unique, functional and cool. They did a fantastic job of blending uniqueness and originality with a classic design and overall look! So, what do you think, would get one if I'm the market?

I really like that, just my type of watch, size is fine for me, not too big, if i had the money and space would seriously think about getting one. Although, while i like the dress blue, really like the Gotham Gold & Grand Central Silver dials as well.

Very good suggestion.

Well, my sale is aimed at @BondandBigM - because he's already mentioned it. We are both big fans of VERY relaxed holidays in the sun, and I reckon the MeisterSinger Metris would be perfect for those laid-back days when the seconds don't matter in the morning, the minutes don't matter at lunchtime and the odd quarter-hour doesn't matter by night-time. Looks good on a whole host of straps, and has the bonus of 200m WR, so it..."Takes a ducking and keeps on ticking", just like Timex. I tried for a better rhyme but it didn't make sense!

Here you go, Commander!

Cheers

I don't even really want to know the date, Big M usually rounds me up from the bar on the last day.

And, on the other occasions she picks you up the next time?

Yep I've alway told her if she finds me sparked out brown bread on the sunbeds not to  bother with all the hassle getting me sent back to Blighty, just leave me and save the money for a party.

So there are now three options for a funeral; burial, cremation or Sun dried like a tomato?

You forgot the other one, mummy.

He could also opt for burial at sea, and I can think of quite a few Forum inmates who would probably volunteer to dig his grave.

I'm also a great fan of the 'fly and flop' type of holiday. No exploring for me, I can do all that online. Just melting in the sun with copious supplies of Sagres and G&T.

Last trip to Portugal...
