Huge sigh of relief - the chrono centre seconds was corroded, and fully jammed on, so when the hand eventually came off, it left the tube on the spindle.  My cannon pinion extractor got it off at the third attempt, and here is the new hand in action!  It does reset to zero, of course my trying to photograph it while running, as it went past zero, simply caught it a split second before, as the minute recorder starts to snap over from 4 to 5.

Pretty happy with the result.  The new hand is from a 31681 cousin of the 3133, as is the running seconds.  No idea where the minutes recorder hand came from, but looks good IMHO.

Almost looks OK on the Bond pattern NATO ....
