Help identifying 2 pocket watches

Recommended Posts

My grandfather gave me these watches some years ago.

He doesn't remember when or where exactly he got them (but probably in Belgium) or who they were manufactured by.

I hope this forum can give me some information about them and if it might be worth it to repair them!

Pictures of the first watch - Unable to photograph but inside is etched: 3/12/26

Many thanks in advance!!!

I can tell you that the second watch, with the "A" in a circle and triangle mark, was a product of Alpina Union Horlogeres SA/SA des montres Alpina Gruen Gilde. This company, in Biel, Switzerland, was founded in 1883 by Gottlieb Hauser in Winterthur. The mark on the watch dial and movement was registered on 7 August 1934 [Information from Mikrolisk].
