Morning all, back one with this one .. not worn it for a while .. shame on me
After our chat yesterday, I have picked up one of these! - I had been tempted by one in the Class Ads & with a nudge from yourself splashed the cash! - Much obliged & look forward to receiving my green version from the sneaky londoner some time soon
You're an absolute torment with this!
Nice write up hereOh no!
Thanks for the in depth reply pal, time to start plotting I think!
More here.I'd not come across Vario before, and few have made their way on to the bay, but this handwound looks nice too.

"Hergestellt" could also mean "constructed" or "fashioned".. "in" is a strange choice (but common) but could also mean "at".An "anomaly watch" today -- but also a very unusual one.
Anomaly because its size (42mm) suggests it's a sports watch, but the fine "guilloché main" finish suggests very dressy application. I find it better with casual attire than with black tie.
Unusual, because Jochen Benzinger produces about thirty watches each year, each of which he will make (in three or four basic styles) to your bespoke decoration requirements. Every watch he makes is unique.
It says "made in Germany" (in German) on the dial, despite the fact that the movement is a Swiss Unitas 6498 -- not that you'd ever recognize it after JB has skeletonised and decorated it by hand (and added a swan-neck regulator).
