Another Microbrand Diver...

...and I really don't have any room at the Inn presently, but it caught my eye and thought I'd be interested in people's thoughts.

The Marnaut Seascape Series, comes in a Compressor or more traditional diver style.

I think both look pretty cool, along with the other colour variants for the dial and bezel. Different enough with the sea urchin inspired (apparently) dotty dial to stand out from the crowd, without being a complete daft novelty.

The shrinking dots design actually makes me think of old TV shows with a spaceship going into 'warp speed', it's a busier dial than I'd normally prefer but still feels clean and clear.

I appreciate it won't be to everyone's taste, and the specs are solid if not extraordinary.

Found this write up for anyone intrigued enough to look further.

Have a great day people.

Those dots are applied not just sprayed on.

No, I feel as though they would stop me from telling the time at a glance.

Exactly what I think. I also think that the majority of dive watches are primarily designed for desk use. Not a bad thing in reality, because some of them do look good.

For the 'too many dots' gang, is this better or still too dotty?

Think both this and the OP are pretty cool personally.

And I quite like this unusual little fella too.

Those are fine for me. Although I would prefer the bezel not to have them, but it's not too many so that it's distracting, like the first one.

I don’t think the dots add anything to the design or usability, quite like the second one though despite the name, I’d buy a Doxa though at around that price.

Yet another Microbrand diver, this one from France and I do like the slim bezel although the overall review is a little mixed.

Yeah I've seen these before. Another uninspired homage as far as I'm concerned. I get cheap looking fifty fathoms.
