Making kids happy

Recommended Posts

So.. because I have a number of watches on display coupled by the fact I have the tools to change bracelet size and swap batteries, a friend/neighbours kid chapped my door yesterday with a sheepish look and two watches needing batteries and bracelet downsize.

I fixed one yesterday (the other was more complicated and I advised his mum on a jewelers) when he came to collect them today I resized his watch and let him look at my collection. Right off the bat he looked at my G-shock and just said "coooooool!".

I've been wondering what to do with it so.. there's a 10 year old away back to his mums sporting a huge grin and a G-shock on his arm. His mum just messaged saying he would like a watch case now and he's since dug out a 5yo metal "treasure chest" and has all 3 lined up on little watch box cushions making cardboard separators.

Kids are great
