That's stunning. Really caught the watch perfectly there.

Postie arrived with one for my new "budget/beater box".

Realised my lot is a little light on military types, nothing field or pilot, so this little cheapo is a welcome addition, and for the price, seems a nice little watch.

Love this.

Union is the "little brother" of, and a few hundred metres up the road from, Glashütte Original  --  both members of the Swatch group.

Nowadays, GO develops its own movements (as it has always done) whilst the slightly cheaper Union pieces use ETA (also Swatch group) movements.

For a while though, Union sourced some movements from GO. That is not necessarily better, just more unusual.

I believe the movement in @Boots lovely piece is one of the GO sourced units (Union Kaliber 26?)  --  compare with the GO Kaliber 39 . . . . .

Beautiful watch, Sir.

.

As I've said before, most of the offerings from this company leave me totally cold  --  but @antjrice owns an exception

And, on my wrist today (as I don't own an Italian watch) is this . . .
