Borealis Oceanaut for me today - definitely a favourite & beautiful lump of bronze/brass/steel. I've put it on a Nato as the leather strap it was on was too hot! The weather's looking good - understatement - so hope you all have a great weekend

Good morning.

This again today 'on trial'

For anyone curious.. it's a sterile 38mm 'Pink Cohome' automatic with Islamic numbers. Not the thinnest watch at 14mm depth but does have a display back showing a rather nondescript but functioning mystery movement.

And... it all came at the princely sum of £20. For a new watch, that is nothing. Lets see how long it ticks.

I'm only a toddler! :laughing2dw: Have you not read my posts!!!? Thought it was quite clear I was of pre-school age.

It is from 1977, although since being a member on here it has become clear through information provided by more knowledgeable members that the dial will have been re-touched / re-painted at some point in its past (although I've had it for about 10 Years, so even the re-paint will be ageing now).

Lanco 1970s auto with Tissot 784-2, badged Excalibur by Henry Showell of Birmingham, by then trading as Excalibur Jewellery.

(advert from The Horological Directory of 1998 has nothing to do with Excalibur, just wanted a background)
