That shingle reminds me of Hastings, or Bexhill.

”ride a painted pony let the spinning wheels turn”..

BUT  spot the issue on the back pic..what’s missing?

My old Miyota 8215 had no pointer on the regulator - just a small debossed circle on the ring.  None of my PUlsars have screw crowns, they are all rated to 100m, my Elliot Brown Kimmeridge is rated to 200m without a screw crown, and although the EB Holton Professional does have screw crown, it is rated to 200m even if you forget to screw it in.  One has been taken down to 1.9km off Mexico - with the crown screwed in, presumably!

You should be a detective, I live just up the coast in Eastbourne :notworthy:

Was the tide out?  The shingle at Eastbourne normally looks a bit coarser until you get further down the beach.

p.s. My dad was born in Newhaven, although he moved 'Up North' when he was 16.

I don't like gold cases, I don't like gold bracelets, I (mostly) don't like gold hands or indices. But by crikey, that is just beautiful and elegant and subdued.  I'd LOVE one of those.

How did you get on with the scooter? I bet it was a bit frightening but at least you could stop the monkeys nicking your mirrors.

Haha, fun outrunning the Lions on a 4mph obesecycle.

My 14 year old took here camera and got some better pictures than my phone snaps.
